MEMBERSHIP

The membership in the Academy of Mathematical Combinatorics with Applications (AMCA) is always open to those persons who are or who have been actively engaged in research or teaching mathematics, such as those of combinatorics, multispaces, graph theory, algebra, topology, geometry, differential equations, system control,…,etc., theoretical physics, astrophysics, theoretical chemistry, the mathematical theory on recycling economy or environmental sciences.

MEMBERSHIP TYPES

●Academician Membership

Academician members are those people who at the time of qualifying (for membership, honorary position with voting right, or the like in operation of AMCA, nominating or nominated for a scientific research achievements, and freely obtain the electronic edition of the journal: International Journal of Mathematical Combinatorics (ISSN 1937-1055), publish papers within 2 month after reviewed) meet the following minimum requirements:

   (1) Already have a Ph.D degree in mathematics or applied mathematics, theoretical physics, theoretical chemistry, recycling economy or environmental sciences;

(2) With the title of Professor;

(3) Are actively engaged in activities related to those of combinatorics, multispaces, graph theory, algebra, topology, geometry, differential equations, system control,…,etc., theoretical physics, astrophysics, theoretical chemistry, and the mathematical theory on recycling economy or environmental sciences. If not currently so engaged, were actively so engaged in such activities within the past five years, and had a significant body of work in one of these fields (as determined by the Peer Group Executive Committee of the Peer Group to which such persons belong).

Such persons must also meet the additional qualifications for Academician Membership which may be established by the Peer Groups subject to ratification by the Board, unless qualified on the basis of a significant body of work under Clause 3 above. Members who cease to meet the foregoing qualifications for Academician Membership shall no longer have the right to Academician Membership unless and until they re-qualify. Any person who is not an Academician Member but who has received a nomination for a Gold Medal or Silver Medal of AMCA shall be entitled to apply for and receive Academician Membership status notwithstanding that such person might not meet the foregoing qualifications; provided that such person makes application for membership within five (5) years after receiving such nomination.

●Co-Academician Membership

Co-Academician members are those people who at the time of qualifying (for membership, nominating or nominated for a scientific research achievements, freely obtain the electronic edition of International Journal of Mathematical Combinatorics (ISSN 1937-1055), publish papers within 2 month after reviewed) meet the following minimum requirements:

   (1) Already have a Ph.D degree in mathematics or applied mathematics, theoretical physics, theoretical chemistry, recycling economy or environmental sciences;

(2) With the title of Associate Professor or Reader;

If not currently so engaged, were actively so engaged in such activities within the past three years, and had an interesting body of work in one of these fields (as determined by the Peer Group Executive Committee of the Peer Group to which such persons belong).

●Fellow Membership

Fellow members are those people who at the time of qualifying (for membership, publish papers within 2 month after reviewed) meet the following minimum requirements:

    (1) Already have a Ph.D degree, or already with the title of lecturer, assistant professor in mathematics or applied mathematics, theoretical physics, theoretical chemistry, recycling economy or environmental sciences one years;

(2) Are actively engaged in activities related to those of combinatorics, multispaces, graph theory, algebra, topology, geometry, differential equations, system control,…,etc., theoretical physics, astrophysics, theoretical chemistry, and the mathematical theory on recycling economy or environmental sciences. If not currently so engaged, were actively so engaged in such activities within the past two years.

A Ph.D candidate in fields, such as those of combinatorics, multispaces, graph theory, algebra, topology, geometry, differential equations, system control,…,etc., theoretical physics, astrophysics, theoretical chemistry, and the mathematical theory on recycling economy or environmental sciences can applies for a student member first, and then promote to a higher member of AMCA with application after he or she received a Ph.D degree in one of these fields.
